Larry Goldberg, PE, Executive Vice President of LANDEV Engineers, Inc., recently participated in the 200 mile Texas Independence Relay. The relay traces the route of Sam Houston and the Texian Army, beginning in Gonzales, Texas at the site of the Come & Take It skirmish and ending at the site of the final battle for Texas’ Independence at the San Jacinto Monument. This year TIR partnered with Team Red, White & Blue, an organization that wants to transform the way America supports its wounded veterans when they return from active duty. Binkley & Barfield, Inc. was a proud sponsor of Team “Broken”, who completed the 200 mile journey approximately one hour ahead of their anticipated time!
