Binkley & Barfield, Inc. (BBI) is pleased to announce that John Jaeger has been promoted to Managing Director – Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE).
The SUE group has been delivering highly accurate designation and mapping of underground utilities to BBI’s regional offices and clients for over 3 years. The SUE work has greatly helped in avoiding costly utility conflicts and construction delays caused by unknown or misrepresented utilities.
“The need for SUE continues to grow and has proven to be a critical and helpful service to our clients. John’s leadership, dedicated work ethic, and high energy have been instrumental to the growth of the department,” said Youssef Laham, PE, Corporate Vice President and Principal of BBI.
Mr. Jaeger has over thirty years of construction management, project management and SUE experience. He received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from Columbia University. Mr. Jaeger has been published by three national magazines on the BBI SUE group and their use of cutting edge electromagnetic technologies to find and map un-locatable utilities as deep as 50 feet. Mr. Jaeger has a highly successful track record of administering and managing multi-million dollar projects, bringing them to on-time and profitable completion.
