Binkley & Barfield, Inc. is pleased to announce Paul Voiles, PE, PTP, has been appointed Director of Transportation Services.
“As the Director of Transportation Services, Paul will continue to grow our firm’s transportation services state-wide. Over the last 2.5 years, he has been extremely successful in obtaining multiple TxDOT contract wins that have led to the growth of the transportation department and expanded our geographic reach,” said Larry Barfield, PE, President.
A graduate of The University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Mr. Voiles has over 18 years of experience in civil engineering management and design. His experience encompasses a wide variety of projects, including highway, port, rail, transit, airport, utility, and municipal facilities which he has successfully managed from conceptual/schematic phase through design and construction. Mr. Voiles currently holds over 21 TxDOT Pre-Certifications, is TxDOT LGPP Certified, and a Certified Professional Transportation Planner.
Mr. Voiles plays an active role in industry associations, including the Asian American Engineers and Architects, American Society of Civil Engineers (Houston Branch), and Economic Alliance Houston Port Region. Additionally, Mr. Voiles has received numerous awards, including the ASCE: Daniel W. Mead Prize for Younger Members, ASCE: Edmund Friedman Young Engineer Award for Professional Achievement, and the AAEA: Young Engineer of the Year (2011), respectively.
