Q&A with Christopher Campbell, PE
What is your favorite part of your job?
Seeing projects that I have designed becoming reality.
How do you think engineering will change in the future?
Engineering changes with the state of technology. Where we worked on paper to prepare drawings and to perform engineering calculations and designs in the past, we are now using various forms of computers and other technology to prepare projects and coordinate with clients and other engineers.
Describe a typical day in the BBI public infrastructure department.
As Managing Director, my daily activities range from managing projects, which includes all administrative and design work, to performing company administrative tasks, to performing company business development tasks such as getting out of the office to develop and maintain relationships with current and potential clients and win work.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my family and playing guitar.
