We love rodeo season! Several events are well underway at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, but there’s nearly two weeks left to join in on the fun! The Binkley & Barfield Family of Companies is proud to support the rodeo through a number of ways including the Rodeo Cookoff, Rodeo Uncorked! Wine Event, volunteering on various committees, as well as attending the livestock show, live performances, and carnival.
David Hamilton, PE, BBI’s Executive Vice President and supporter of the Rodeo since 1997, along with Landev’s Bob Boozer, PE, and Scott Blissit, PE, recently attended the Rodeo Uncorked! Roundup and Best Bites Competition. David also serves on the Rodeo Operations Committee (ROC). The ROC works close with full-time staff of the Grounds and Operations Division and is responsible for general setup and tear down in the NRG Exhibit Hall, NRG Stadium, and NRG Arena. Their hard work and dedication to our community is appreciated!
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo benefits youth, supports education, and facilitates better agricultural practices. Since its beginning in 1932, the show has committed more than $430 million to the youth of Texas. Rodeo Houston is happening now through March 26.
