Global Tubing, LLC, provider of coiled tubing products and related services for the oil and gas industry, is set to move its headquarters from Dayton, Texas, in Liberty County to Generation Park, a 4,000-acre mixed-use development located off Beltway 8 in the West Lake Houston region, according to a press release by McCord Development. Generation Park’s development, completed in early 2015, included West Lake (shown in the aerial photo), West Lake Houston Parkway, Subsea Lane (designed by Landev Engineers, Inc., BBI’s Land Development subsidiary), and North Lake Houston Parkway and Lockwood Road, designed by BBI’s Transportation group in Houston. As outlined in the general design development phase of the project, West Lake has served as a regional detention facility for the community for over three years and will continue to do so as more tenants begin to generate more stormwater runoff from their sites.
The move is expected to occur in the first quarter of 2018, and the company will keep its manufacturing operations in Dayton, home to another general development planned by Landev. Learn more about the economic impact this project will have by reading the recently published article in the Houston Business Journal here.
Landev Engineers, in conjunction with sister company, Baseline Corporation, is pleased to begin to see the engineering and surveying services for this development come to fruition, and will continue to build on the successes achieved in this community and beyond.
