Houston, Texas (March 15, 2018) – Binkley & Barfield, Inc. (BBI) is pleased to announce the promotion of Cameron Williams, PE, to Managing Director of our Traffic group in Richardson.
Cameron’s new role emphasizes the need for continual growth and direction in our Traffic services line. He will be responsible for managing projects, business development, managing existing clients, developing fee proposals, writing statements of qualifications, and managing a team of Professional Engineers, Engineers-in-Training, and Technicians.
“Cameron has done an amazing job with the Traffic group,” said Tony Romo, PE, Regional Vice President of BBI. “Since joining BBI, Cameron has grown the Traffic group in the DFW Regional Office from two to five people, has started a Traffic group in the BBI College Station office, and has provided traffic-related engineering services to the Austin and Houston areas through work sharing with other departments. He has also effectively managed staff in multiple office locations. We appreciate all of Cameron’s hard work and value his contributions to our office.”
Cameron has 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering and states that his hard work, accepting responsibility, and learning from the engineers and managers he has worked under have helped him progress in his career over the years. These are all things he hopes he can continue to do, and he is excited to pass his knowledge on to others. His project experience includes traffic signal design, traffic impact analyses, transportation planning, traffic forecasting, signing, striping, traffic modeling, traffic control plans, safe routes to school studies, ADA ramps, and street light design.
