BBI’s President Larry Barfield, PE, F.NSPE and CEO Brett Binkley attended the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) Annual Membership Meeting on June 20, held at the Overton Hotel in Lubbock, where Larry was recognized for his recent fellowship award given by the Texas Engineering Foundation (TEF). TEF Fellowship status certifies that Larry is committed to the development of the engineering profession and desires to support the activities of the Texas Engineering Foundation as a Fellow, further strengthening engineering education through scholarships and continuing professional development.
The TSPE also recognized BBI for its recent achievement of being named a TEF Corporate Fellow, and Brett accepted this honor on behalf of the firm. As a TEF Corporate Fellow, BBI demonstrates its commitment to the development of engineering professionals and its desire to support ongoing activities of the Foundation. The TEF’s mission is to “enhance the practice of engineering through supporting high quality formal engineering education and continuing professional development, encouraging the development and maintenance of the high standards of conduct expected of members of a learned profession, and providing scholarship assistance to outstanding engineering students.”
