Landev Engineers recently teamed up with Kirksey Architecture to provide services including grading, paving, drainage, stormwater conveyance, stormwater detention, utilities, fire protection, and erosion control for a 10.5-acre redevelopment of an existing church site that was inundated by Hurricane Harvey. This project involved several months of coordination with other engineering disciplines, as well as the project’s landscape architect on the project to obtain a clear vision for future development intended to replace the area of the flooded building. Landev analyzed stormwater conveyance requirements as well as stormwater detention requirements to mitigate the impacts of this redevelopment, and to allow for future development within the same site.
