BBI’s Back to School Supply Drive Benefitting the Star of Hope was a Great Success!

We are happy to report that BBI’s Back to School Supply Drive was a great success! Our Marketing team packed and delivered a car full of supply donations to the Star of Hope’s Women & Family Development Center at the Cornerstone Campus yesterday afternoon.

The Star of Hope’s Cornerstone Community campus houses up to 160 homeless, single women and 130 homeless families to help them progress towards independent living through basic recovery services and longer-term programs. In addition, mental, physical and spiritual health services are offered with on-site permanent supportive housing and convenient public transportation, all in a walkable campus environment.

The Star of Hope is dedicated to meeting the needs of homeless men, women and their children through structured programs which focus on spiritual growth, education, employment, life management and recovery from substance abuse. The agency is funded through public and private donations, the United Way, churches, civic/community groups, corporations, grants and foundations. In addition, it is supported by more than 7,300 volunteers.

A big Thank You to all the departments in the BBI Family of Companies who participated in this school supply drive, helping us bring together a combined total of 1,274 donation items!
