David Calabuig, PE joined members of the Texas Section of ASCE on Tuesday, February 26th for the 2019 Legislative Drive-In program, held at the Texas Capitol in Austin. The event offers attendees a chance to learn about public policy processes from the inside and have an opportunity to meet with legislators to address current issues and concerns.
David and other ASCE members met with House Representative Sheryl Cole’s staff and Senator Kirk Watson’s staff to discuss the need for infrastructure investments. This one-day program runs concurrent with the Texas Legislative Section and gives ASCE members the opportunity to take an active role in the passing of bills that will ensure the health and safety of our ever-growing Texas population!
