BinkleyBarfield | DCCM is pleased to announce the addition of Deryl Tumlinson to our team as Vice President of Corporate Strategic Development. Deryl brings more than 41 years of experience with CenterPoint Energy and its predecessor companies, having held a variety of leadership positions and served on national utility committees. Throughout his career, he has led service center operations, managed design and process improvement initiatives, and overseen major programs, including CenterPoint Energy’s Automated Metering System, intelligent grid deployment, distribution projects, key accounts, and underground operations. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Distribution Operations and Service Delivery. Deryl is also deeply engaged in his community. He serves on the Brazoria Southwest Go-Texan Committee for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Brazoria County Association for Children’s Habilitation, an organization close to his heart. We are thrilled to welcome Deryl to our team, with his extensive experience at CenterPoint Energy, where he played a pivotal role in driving key projects and initiatives, Deryl brings rich knowledge and expertise that will undoubtedly contribute to our company’s growth and success. Jim brings a wealth of experience and a stellar reputation in the industry, making him an invaluable asset to our organization. Jim brings over 30 years of experience in designing public infrastructure and transportation systems for a diverse range of civil engineering projects. His expertise spans roadway and drainage systems, as well as water and wastewater facilities. He has successfully led projects in the Gulf Coast region for numerous municipalities and counties, including the cities of Houston, Pearland, Conroe, and Katy, as well as Harris, Fort Bend, and Galveston counties. Jim has been recognized for his exceptional work and leadership in water infrastructure projects. His extensive knowledge and strategic vision align perfectly with our commitment to delivering innovative and reliable solutions to our clients. For almost 3 decades, Steven has developed business in Municipal markets all over Texas and the Gulf Coast. Having previously worked with Jim Thompson, PE (DCCM CEO), Steve is excited to be part of this growing brand. “Jim is an incredible leader, and the opportunity to team up with him again is an extraordinary opportunity.” Steven’s responsibilities will be to continue client engagement, sourcing and development, and implementation of business development strategies for future consulting opportunities.
