BBI Joins 7th Annual National Infrastructure Week

The 7th Annual Infrastructure Week (May 13-20) is a national week of events, media coverage, and education and issue advocacy to elevate infrastructure as a critical issue impacting America’s economy, society, security, and future. Each year during IWeek, leaders and citizens around America highlight the state of our nation’s infrastructure—roads, bridges, rail, ports, airports, water and sewer systems, the energy grid, telecoms, and more—and the projects, technologies, and policies necessary to make America competitive, prosperous, and safe. In 2019, hundreds of organizations and thousands of leaders are uniting around one message: “America’s future will be shaped by the infrastructure choices we make today, so let’s Build For Tomorrow.”

As increased populations bring new financial and infrastructure challenges for municipalities, BBI’s team of engineers works together with our clients to create solutions to serve these growing communities. We provide a complete range of engineering services, including planning, utilities, stormwater, streetscape, parks and trails, roadway, water/wastewater, and drainage and work with key stakeholders to plan, design, and construct infrastructure projects that will meet the current and future needs of the communities.

“We are thrilled that Binkley & Barfield, Inc. is joining Infrastructure Week. The state of America’s infrastructure is one of the most pressing issues facing us as a nation. The benefits of a stronger, better infrastructure system could be immense, but we urgently need political courage and leadership on this issue,” said Zach Schafer, Executive Director of Infrastructure Week. “During Infrastructure Week, we bring together the public and private sector to encourage lawmakers to think long-term and invest in infrastructure at the federal, state, and local level.”
