Civil engineering develops ideas into change and connects the present to the future.
Today, we are celebrating Professional Engineers Day by celebrating those who have worked so hard to get their license and help protect the public health, safety, and welfare across the nation. Join us as we raise awareness about what it means to be a PE, recognize licensed PEs, and show appreciation for the work they do every day.
Are you interested in getting licensed? Here are your next steps:
- Earn a four-year degree in engineering from an accredited engineering program
- Pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- Complete four years of progressive engineering experience under a PE
- Pass the Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam
