Binkley & Barfield’s marketing team was awarded the Peers’ Choice Award and third place in the Social Media category for our International Women’s Day Campaign at the SMPS 2019 Design Awards Gala on Friday, October 18. This year, the gala focused on members’ excellence in marketing design and outstanding achievements in communications, with the theme of “Marketing Masquerade.” The chapter continued its long-standing tradition of supporting Casa de Esperanza de Los Niños by donating all proceeds from the raffle and mask sales to the charity.
Marketing team members Mindy Gray, Jessica Steglich, Katy Bates, Sarah Hoban, Michele Baker, and Kate Fransioli accepted the Peers’ Choice Award for the “Social Media” category in honor of BBI’s International Women’s Day social media campaign. The post, which was one of 34 online entrees, won the category by a large number of votes on the SMPS Facebook page.
The International Women’s Day social media campaign joined the movement celebrating the achievements of women with a “hands out” pose to call others to come together in support of a #BalanceforBetter.
