Youssef Laham, PE, Promoted to the Role of President-Elect

Houston, Texas—In conjunction with Binkley & Barfield | DCCM’s continued focus on a comprehensive and ongoing succession planning process to support the company’s long-term growth strategy, we are pleased to announce the promotion of Youssef Laham, PE, Executive Vice President, to the role of President-Elect, effective October 11, 2023. Youssef’s leadership, dedication, and determination have greatly contributed to our company’s steady growth. His valuable experience and client relationship building continue to elevate the company across the region. Youssef has spent his entire 22-year career starting as an Engineer-In-Training and working through the ranks to his new role.

“As a young project engineer, 20 years ago, I challenged Youssef to take over management of a highly complicated and detailed dry utility relocation assignment associated with the IH 10 Expansion project,” said Larry Barfield, PE, FNSPE, FTEF, Chairman Emeritus of Binkley & Barfield | DCCM. “He accepted that challenge and delivered a completed project that gained accolades from everyone involved. Over the years, he has demonstrated a willingness and desire to progress and be proactive in all his project endeavors, client relationships, and business unit interactions as he grew in our organization. He will continue to provide vision, leadership, and growth opportunities for our company. He will work tirelessly with our Executive Management Team to ensure, at a to-be-determined date, a smooth transition of presidential responsibilities.”
